Participants in the Respiratory Protection course conduct a review of the respiratory system and the hazards impacting it. They learn the value of choosing appropriate PPE, and receive a review of SABA and SCBA Systems. They also learn basic equipment maintenance, fit testing, and quality of breathing air. There are timed proficiency exercises included as well.
