This basic course is designed for situations where workers and the public are exposed to hazards created by vehicles and/or equipment. The objectives for this course are to train workers inthe importance of the flag station and the flag person’s location, responsibilities for the protection of the public and co-workers, identify correct flagging practices and procedures, clothing and equipment, communication with co-workers, the public and dealing with emergency vehicles. * BC Level 1 ONLY – no highway work (needs endorsement and not worth it yet), AB no restrictions.
Course Requirement: Appropriate footwear, clothing and PPE is required.
