  • Participants of this ATV Safety course learn a wide range of rider strategies and skills. After reviewing the importance of safety training, due diligence and legislation, participants are introduced to ATV specific maintenance, PPE, pre and post trip inspection requirements and riding strategies. Driving hazards, safe winching and load securement are also explained. Practical student exercises include pre-trip inspection, unloading, practical driving and winching, and load securement.   • Participants of the Chainsaw Safety Basics course learn appropriate provincial & federal legislation, PPE requirements and preventative maintenance of the equipment. Each participant must complete a practical chainsaw use component. This course is ideal for those who need to remove brush and deadfall.   • Course includes review of all aspects of working in confined spaces: jurisdictionally appropriate legislation, due diligence, confined space hazards, controls, entry, specialized permits, inspection and care of equipment, and emergency rescue procedures. Participants will create a basic confined space entry plan, demonstrate their ability to inspect and use SCBA and practice the skills learned in this course. Download Outline
  • Participants of the driver fatigue course learn the impacts of fatigue on safety. They learn the nature of fatigue, the extent to which drivers are impacted and various strategies to mitigate fatigue. There is a review of legislation, due diligence, and relevant lifestyle choices.   • This Forklift Class 7 Safety course covers legislation, PPE, pre and post trip inspections, preventative maintenance, driving, carrying personnel, forklift physics, traction, vehicle limitations, load securement, and loading and unloading procedures.   • In the Forklift Classes 1, 4, 5 program students learn the legislation, PPE, pre and post-trip inspections, preventative maintenance, driving, carrying personnel, forklift physics, traction, vehicle limitations, load securement, loading and unloading procedures.   • Participants will learn detailed gas properties, review PPE requirements, learn how to monitor, test, place devices, and other Gas Detection & Control fundamentals.   • In the advanced Ground Disturbance Supervisory Level program, students learn federal and provincial legislation, industry recommended practice, buried facilities, spoil pile hazards, precautionary measures, sloping, shoring and trenching. Student exercises include developing an emergency response plan (ERP), ground disturbance checklist, DIRT form, using plot plan and color code. Download Outline
  • Participants learn the properties of H2S, byproducts, and other hazardous gases. They are guided through all aspects of H2S protection including PPE requirements, SABA and SCBA, testing devices and placement.   • Yes Hazard Assessment & Control Hazard Assessment Training Workplace Essentials The focus is on workplace hazard definition, detection, preventation and corrective measures. Participants are guided through the identification, evaluation and control of environmental, physical and psychological hazards. This course explains what participants need to know to stay safe when encountering a workplace hazard.
