Participants learn the properties of H2S, byproducts, and other hazardous gases. They are guided through all aspects of H2S protection including PPE requirements, SABA and SCBA, testing devices and placement. Each student will perform a monitor bump test to find peaks, record their findings, perform SCBA inspection, and participate in an emergency response plan scenario.
